Founded in 1891, the Western Fire Chiefs Association (WFCA) is an independent, non-profit organization that also serves as a Division of the International Association of Fire Chiefs. We represent and serve the WFCA member states and the Western Pacific Islands. In recent years, we realized the risk of seeking out a new opportunity for executives in the fire service were far too high. Fire service leaders don’t want to jeopardize their current position to be 1 of 100 applicants that all look good on paper. With the support of our network of fire chiefs, and our ability to access up and coming talent throughout the west, we created the Confidential Executive Recruiting program.
